JMJ is a family owned and operated fireplace retailer and installer. As northeast Ohio’s premier dealer of Harman and Quadra-Fire products we believe in quality products and thorough service. James, our primary technician, has annual training with both fireplace manufacturers. He is highly skilled in fireplace installation and maintenance, and a seasoned craftsman. Tobias is another installer in the family, has been working and training at James’ side for 10 years. Tobias is also a National Fireplace Institute certified installer, and completes annual manufacturer training. JMJ has been awarded several certificates of achievement through vendor programs. JMJ’s Eco Friendly Heat experts have been helping northeast Ohio residents since 2006. Our Middlefield showroom has dozens of fireplaces on display, several working displays. All of NFI's activities are overseen by the Hearth Education Foundation, an independent non-profit organization. Q:How do hearth professionals achieve Certification? A: NFI Certification means that an individual has passed a rigorous examination based on a training manual that has been reviewed by industry experts. The training manual for each hearth specialty is a comprehensive reference source for the fundamentals of that subject area, and includes essential topics such as combustion theory, fuel comparisons, safety code regulations, appliance design and sizing. Certification may be earned by hearth industry professionals in three hearth specialties: * NFI Gas Specialist * NFI Woodburning Specialist * NFI Pellet Specialist Certification is renewed every three years. NFI Certified Specialists have a dated certificate, wallet card, and are listed on the NFI Certified Internet list.
